New Cycle Auditions, Tryouts and Casting Calls for 2018 have been Announced for America’s Next Top Model! The New eligibility requirements for this auditions and casting call will be released! ANTM will be accepting new video submissions, they can be sent their mailing address. Leave a comment for more audition information.
What we gather from this is the Producers want mailed in submissions and make unsolicited invitations to girls the producers like on Facebook or other media. It also seems that ANTM will make casting calls if they get enough candidates and they might make open audition in limited markets. For those of you that are interested, stay tuned! It seems that more than likely ANTM will be announcing auditions just to make sure they didn’t miss any amazing talent like YOU!
Here are some great friendly tips for your next big audition!
- YOUR HAIR: make it as simple as possible: best if it is a simple ponytail that can be set loose if needed.
- YOUR SHOES: wear comfy shoes, but bring heels you can walk well in.
- YOUR CLOTHES: jeans & tee is perfectly acceptable. Be comfortable, but don’t look like a slob. It’s a job interview, remember that.
- YOUR FACE: PLEASE, NO MAKEUP: – For real; if you have to wear it, make sure it is as little as you can to appear as natural as possible. ANTM wants to see you as a rough stone so they know what to work with
Swimswit?: to wear or not to wear? I suggest wearing a flattering swimsuit under your clothes; better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Other stuff: plenty of water and high-energy compact food (energy bars/peanuts/jerky); something to entertain you but NOT engross you to the point where you miss someone calling your name/number. Oh, yeah; and an empty bladder. No kidding; you don’t want to HAVE to go when you are there; salty snacks are good for this.

I know ANTM has had petite competitions in the past and I’m not even close to those petite requirements. I’m thin, just not tall. I think modeling is one of the most beautiful things a person can do. Please do a petite option this season!! It relates more to the average American! I am 5’2 and always get told I should be a model; yes this is by the general public not modeling professionals, BUT I would love to be on the show as an aspiring petite model! I have everything besides the height! Like I said, I feel most women are built shorter and can relate more to and how clothes fit! I always Google petite models to get a realistic look on how certain outfit on me! Please take this into consideration! 🙂

I would love to see ANTM not only open to different sizes such as petite a BUT different ages. Think about it actress Lupita Nyong’o works plenty of beauty campaigns, shoots, etc and is in her early thirties. Look at all of the other actors and actresses that get their careers started later than 20 something being sometimes not everyone is granted those opportunities based on geography, size, age, creed, life struggles otherwise such as illness for example, or even because of the color of their skin. There are still high fashion models and other types of models which have lucrative continual careers and are in their late 30’s and above. I think if someone can pull it off at any age they should be given the the opportunity too. Your show has already had several contestants that have broken barriers such as Isis the 1st transgender model for example, why not open castings for age and body types more so along side the more “standard” models? It would be cutting edge I think. Again if someone can model, can take incredible photos, and are made for it I think they should be given a shot no matter what age, body type, life experience which have prevented/delayed them from following their dream of modeling. A platform like this show might just change the industry looks at others that are not “the standard” model hence more high profile jobs produced for the “non standard” models. Fashion is all about innovation after all. Just a suggestion:) God bless.

I recently had the interest to take it to this level because i went into an expensive antique store just to admire the clothing designs and accessories and the owner saw me and asked me a question that kept me blushing all week – “Are you a professional model?”. I told her i wasn’t, but she still paid me to be part of her runway show. She made me the lead model because she “liked me so much”. More so, my friends keep asking me to give this a shot, which i really really want to.
