New Cycle Auditions, Tryouts and Casting Calls for 2018 have been Announced for America’s Next Top Model! The New eligibility requirements for this auditions and casting call will be released! ANTM will be accepting new video submissions, they can be sent their mailing address. Leave a comment for more audition information.
What we gather from this is the Producers want mailed in submissions and make unsolicited invitations to girls the producers like on Facebook or other media. It also seems that ANTM will make casting calls if they get enough candidates and they might make open audition in limited markets. For those of you that are interested, stay tuned! It seems that more than likely ANTM will be announcing auditions just to make sure they didn’t miss any amazing talent like YOU!
Here are some great friendly tips for your next big audition!
- YOUR HAIR: make it as simple as possible: best if it is a simple ponytail that can be set loose if needed.
- YOUR SHOES: wear comfy shoes, but bring heels you can walk well in.
- YOUR CLOTHES: jeans & tee is perfectly acceptable. Be comfortable, but don’t look like a slob. It’s a job interview, remember that.
- YOUR FACE: PLEASE, NO MAKEUP: – For real; if you have to wear it, make sure it is as little as you can to appear as natural as possible. ANTM wants to see you as a rough stone so they know what to work with
Swimswit?: to wear or not to wear? I suggest wearing a flattering swimsuit under your clothes; better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Other stuff: plenty of water and high-energy compact food (energy bars/peanuts/jerky); something to entertain you but NOT engross you to the point where you miss someone calling your name/number. Oh, yeah; and an empty bladder. No kidding; you don’t want to HAVE to go when you are there; salty snacks are good for this.

I tried out for the casting call in Lerado and I don’t no nothing yet its been almost a year and I don’t no if im ever going to be good enough to be Americas next top model.. this has always been my dream but I just don’t no… all I can do right now is pray about it. Modeling has always and will continue to be my lifetime dream. Since the summer of 9th grade is when I made up my mind that I wanted to model. Every casting call that came to town I was there, my mom always took me, they always picked me to do shoots with but I wasn’t able to go further with them because of the prices. I never had any type of support from my dad that I would have like to have. Just came across Tyra’s latest pic on IG and saw that the casting was starting to begin! Today I’ve been zooming with ideas and I will be there. Acting is my passion but modeling is just a still so of course just as much fun. My first professional shoot was last April and landed Ohio Style May 2012 issue cover! I was shocked, especially since I chopped my long blonde hair and dyed it red with an edge..a whole new look for a shoot I wasn’t guarenteed a thing for except my new due. I can’t say that I’ve dreamed of becoming a model since I was a little girl like everyone else, but I can tell you that I BELIEVE I have what it takes to be in the running, BUT, I have an insecurity that has been holding me back for years from seriously pursuing my modeling career. My family are always trying to get me to accept this (UGLY) flaw, and move forward, but I just couldn’t bring myself to accept it. I remember when this show came out I was in elementary school and I would grab my moms heels and try to walk just like the girls on the show. I never really considered modeling as a job at that time. I would always see it as something the girls on the show loved to do, something they always dreamed of doing. After some years of growing up from a little girl into a teenager, I realized modeling is something really hard to do. You have to deal with agency’s thinking your not thin , or pretty enough to represent there agency. Eating disorders, rejection, and depression are some of the things most models have to deal with. Being a model is a challenge, something you physically and mental have to be ready for.Most girls think modeling is just looking pretty in front of a camera, and posing. I’m sixteen and I know that modeling is one of the hardest job to accomplish, but I still want to be a model. I know beacause I’m being pressured to choose what I want to do with my life, and all I want to do with my life is become a model. Someone who could inspire girls and boys to chase after their dreams no matter how impossible it may seem.
