A brand new reality modeling competition is coming to television and that means all new opportunities for talented up and coming models from across the world to be discovered and given their big break in the industry. Oxygen’s The Face starring one of the original supermodels Naomi Campbell is currently searching the globe for fresh faces to star in this exciting new program and compete for the amazing grand prize of a contract to be The Face of a major national brand. Casting calls and auditions will be happening soon for this fabulous new reality modeling show.
The Face will feature a Naomi Campbell and two yet to named supermodel coaches who will mold and mentor the models chosen for the competition. The contestants will be put into teams of three, each mentored by a different supermodel as they are guided through a series of challenges including photo shoots, runway walks and commercials for some the world’s most successful brands. Each week the models will be exposed to and critiqued by the most talented names in the world of modeling as they are eliminated one by one until just one lucky lady remains standing as the winner. That champion will be signed as a brand ambassador and Face of a major national brand. This is simply the most exciting and career making modeling contest yet and will surly be the next must see television phenomenon. I was born and raised in Sandusky, OH. I currently live in Columbus, OH. I moved away from Sandusky because they were not any opportunites there. I wanted to make something out of my life, so I decided to got to school. I’ve always wanted to be a model. My role models and inspiration have always been Tyra Banks and Beyonce. When I was younger, I was not able to afford modeling school. Now that I am older, I can make a way for myself. Hello! My name is Samantha Uwagboe, I’m 5’9″, and 133 lbs from Dallas, Texas. I’m 21 years old, I actually just turned 21 on June 16th. I want to be on The Face because growing up I’ve always been interested in doing something in the entertainment industry. But my parents, felt otherwise. My mother and father aren’t from America, they’re from Africa. They came to america 2 weeks before I was born. I also have 2 younger brothers, no children. I’m the oldest in my family. My parents want me to be that child that goes to school to become a doctor & set an example for my younger brothers to follow. I’ve tried to go to school for pharmacy but ended up having to drop out because I was not enjoying it. Instead I enjoyed “being on the scene”, hosting events, going to concerts, meeting people. It was doing that when I ran into Bari of ASAP mob & I also met Ian Connor. & they inspired me to pursue modeling. I’ve always been told that I’m a pretty girl & that I should do modeling, but I never really thought much of it until I met them. They really encouraged me & broke it down to me that that’s my perfect fit. They kept telling me I had so much potential to be “way more fly than I am now”. So since July of 2013, I’ve been trying to pursue modeling. I’ve done a couple photo shoots here & there, been to a few agencies, went out of town to network with other models, but it’s been a whole year now & I feel like I have made progression, but I could make so much more progression with guidance. & that’s where The Face comes in. I don’t too much care to win the show, to me it’s more about the experience, networking, & the skills I can learn to better myself in this industry & if I do win, that’s just a plus & a great feeling.. & truly, I just want to be able to inspire others that if you really put your mind to something, anything is possible. & I want to prove to my parents, family & friends that I can still be somebody without school. My parents are living the American dream. Now it’s my turn to continue the legacy & still be a positive influence to my brothers.

Hello, I want to audition for the show through a video but the rules say dress in somthing that shows your body type like jeans and a tee but walk in a swim suite. My question is how am I suppose to do this if there can be no cuts, no edit just raw footage? Am I suppose to keep the camera rolling while I am changing or can I just wear my swim suite the enitre time?
