You’ve been asking for it. You’ve been waiting for it. Now it’s finally here! Tyra Banks and The CW have officially announced CYCLE 22 of America’s Next Top Model and we’ve got the all of the information you need right here. Another round of the world’s most fabulous modeling show is on it’s way and soon you could be the fashion industry’s next great star.
America’s Next Top Model is back and better than ever and Ms. Tyra and her fabulous team of talent scouts and casting directors are set to begin an all new search for the the globe’s most talented up and coming modeling prospects. Cycle 22 will once again feature both female and male models and new twists, turns and challenges that promise to make this cycle one for the ages. Each week a crop of fantastic modeling hopefuls will compete
in a series of challenges of photo shoot, commercial and runway skills that will lead to one final model standing with on the precipice of a legendary career and the title of America’s Next Top Model.
Auditions for America’s Next Top Model Cycle 22 are happening very soon. We have listed the locations for the first open casting call announcement below and once again you if you are not near or able to try out in person you will also be able to apply online in a variety of ways. Hello! my name is Jessica Banner, i am 19 years old i was born in Belize and i am 5’5 and im proud to say im 170 pounds and loving each part about it and i grew up in the foster care system and came across more then you can imagine. I wasn’t always a strong bright person, i had a constant battle with myself from being so confused why i was brought up the way i was, around 9 i was diagnosed with major depression and eating disorder. i didn’t have much of a family growing up, i soon became sad and suicidal thoughts came with it. As i became older i relize my past DOES NOT DEFINE ME, i am jessica banner and i am next top model.

Hi, people call me Yanni. I’m a 20 year old college girl, who gives my parents something to brag about for once, when it’s pertaining to me; (excellent job Ms. Nance and Mr. Nance, you got her this far). I graduated in 2014, but missed out on the first 6 months of college due to poor test scores. So I buckled down and studied for months and got accepted into the university where my parents met, where I was conceived, and where they both got their bachelor degrees from. Now boom! Here I am literally walking in my parents footsteps. If we were face to face having this conversation you would hear how my voice lacks enthusiasm. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful to have the opportunity to get a college education. I love college I’m making memories every day and the freedom is both a blessing and a curse; like that one guy you can’t get enough of, who happens to be the biggest asshole you have ever met, and now you’re considering celibacy because of that asshole, but now I’m totally getting off track. Yeah college is great! And I’m majoring in some BS of course, because that particular major, quoting my mother here, “will make me more Marketable”. Who in the hell am I? And what am I doing? That is a question slowly being answered as I gain more experience’s, blossoming into this very strong-minded young woman. Ever since I could remember this “bony school teacher leg girl” as my grandmother would say, loved the spotlight like Beyoncé love Jay. Picture me as a little diva doing my model walk in our living room, watching the Victoria secret show. Yeah i’ve been practicing that same walk 20 years now, and now I’m ready to finally get the chance to strut my stuff. Now let me be a little blunt here; I’m going crazy, I have these dreams and then this other shit in my life, which, quoting here, “makes me more marketable.” Fuck that! I’m a “school teacher leg” super model in my head, and now I’m just trying to make that my reality. Here I come baby watch out I got dreams bigger than Elizabeth Taylor’s wedding ring, and I’m just ready for someone to take a chance on me; because I’ve had it with the, and I quote “will make you more marketable”, dream killer shit. I need that which makes me happy and I will be able to market that all day every day because I love it that much. My name is Pauljusette Damus, I am 18 years old and I’ve been modeling since the age of eight. I have travelled to California in hopes of making it big through many various modeling competitions. I have taken part in many fashion shows and have different creative photoshoots with my photographer every day. I am Haitian American, 5’9, and weight 140. Modeling is definitely what I live for and the passion runs deep through my veins. I know modeling is what I will forever commit to, I had a near-death experience recently during a photoshoot. I was posing on the edge of a roof garden and the garden collapsed with me. I fell to what I thought was my death. I was awake through it all and my photographer was by my side through it all, I thank God each and every day that I made it out with a broken arm and swollen face after falling 30 feet onto concrete. The day after my accident I was back on heels doing what I love in a arm cast. God kept me alive and I’ll continue to model everyday that I am here on earth. I am grateful for everything, many say my humble and caring nature is what saved my life. I believe I have what it takes to be Americas next top model and anyone can try and deter me but they will not be able to stop me from reaching my aspirations. I have been through so much and I know I will make it one day, and I don’t plan on ever quitting because that would basically be me quitting on life after what I have endured. I always give everything my all and conquer to the fullest because I know what it’s like to make something from nothing.

Sure, I have many things going against me from being plus sized to having scars; but will that stop me? HELL NO! Im 5’8 1/2″ and 230 pounds of amazing! Yes I have a very large scar that goes down the entire length of my spine, and yes I have one right in the middle of my boobs! But these scars are a part of me, they help me stand out and they tell a story! These scars make me even more beautiful! My hope is to show girls and guys that no matter what obstacles you face in life, if you are determined enough, you CAN do “it”. Whatever your “it” may be! For me, its modeling! I’ve been a huge fan of America’s Next Top Model ever since it started airing (yes, I was too young to really grasp what was going on), but only really started to appreciate the art of modeling when I got older. I hope I can join the next season of ANTM, not only for myself, but to break the barriers of modeling especially with petite models. I hope that I’ll be able to show that petite girls, being 80% of the population of girls, have a chance to be in high fashion, regardless of their height. My plan has always been to go to law school, study international law, and become a defender for the victims of sex trafficking. Sometimes I go by L.A. I’m 20 years old, 5’8, and have always been skinny. Whether I like it or not. I’ve been watching ANTM since I was 12. Always loved the thought of different themes, different styles, generally just difference and evolution in the modeling industry.
Being a model, to me, is about representation and just being yourself. Go with what you know, but never be afraid to open up to a unique type of reference.
I guess ‘change’ is a good word. Accept change and understand it. I’ve heard so so many times that I should just quit what I’m doing to become a model, but I was never ready at the time. Giving myself some time, I’m finally in my zone and have the right mindset to pursue a legit modeling career.
Mainly, this is for my mom. For always helping me. No matter what, she’s always been there for me. I want to give back and prove to be as successful as I know I can be. Hi Tyra and everyone else who’s apart of this process! My name is Amber, I recently turned 18, I’m at the point in my life where I have so much pressure on me to go to school and make all of my life decisions right now. I’ve noticed all the comments before mine were in June so I may be a little to late right? But I figure it’s worth a chance for me to try and go for something I’ve wanted almost my whole life. I’m African American, born in Tucson, Arizona, raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. I’m about 5’11 – 6’0 , 140 pounds. Every since I can remember, my uncle has been asking me, “..when are you gonna go on ANTM and make us famous…” I always laughed and brushed him off, because I never thought even if I did, I wouldn’t be any good or I won’t even make it past the first stage, there will be someone better than me, like always. As I watched the shows seasons pass I watched and was intimidated, always being the odd one out in school because I was too dark, too tall, or too skinny, made me question myself and left me discouraged to speak out or go for the things I’ve wanted, but I want this SO bad. I just need a chance, that’s all I’m really asking for and if it’s not meant to be then it isn’t, but I pray it is. I really want this opportunity to take my life and do what I want with it and not fall into the daily routine and just floating through life, I want to live and be happy. Being this tall and having the frame and walk that I’ve been blessed with, when you meet new people, you get two questions, “… Do you play basketball?”, or “… Do you model?” .
